Although mentioned in a few places, the Beta class was never given a proper depiction in any Star Wars media, so Valeria has given it a new design as part of the upcoming Hapan playable faction.

Valeria has started working on the new designa esthetic for the Empire of the Hand and Chiss Ascendancy. Here you can see the largest ship in their arsenal, the Intego, which has been in Ascendancy under its old design but never quite made its way to Imperial Civil War. We're making some broader changes to the Hand as we improve their designs, so you'll start to see a bit more of that soon.

The Intego's path into Thrawn's Revenge has been a long one. It was originally designed several years ago with a very different model and released to ascendancy, but we never felt the model held up in Thrawn's Revenge. As we're restarting the Empire of the Hand's design process, the Intego made a good first target for that. The rest of the roster (except the Peltast) will be getting a similar makeover. At 2200 meters, the Intego is the largest of the Empire of the Hand ships. It's slow for an Empire of the Hand vessel, which still makes it pretty damn fast. Unlike most other hand ships, it trades firepower for extra tankiness. Design: Valerie Model: Oseritzel Texture: Corey
